No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill provides that certain employees classified as Rescue Specialists, employed by the adjutant general to fight aircraft fires at a Texas National Guard installation, are eligible for same Law Enforcement and Custodial Officers Supplemental Retirement System (LECOS) benefits.

According to the Employees Retirement System, any increase in funding for these provisions would be charged to the federal government and result in no fiscal impact to the state.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
