No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the right of an employee to time off from work to participate in certain school-related activities of the employee's child. 

Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
