No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill would amend the Texas Controlled Substances Act adding Salvinorin A and Salvia divinorum to the list of hallucinogenic substances within Penalty Group 2. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007. The Texas Department of Public Safety anticipates no significant fiscal impact from this bill.
