HB2393 by Flynn (Relating to the investment and management of assets held in a prepaid funeral benefits trust.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Finance Code by requiring the Finance Commission of Texas to adopt certain rules and clarify law relating to the investment and management of assets held in a prepaid funeral account.

It is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
