HB2526 by Coleman (Relating to the creation of the Center for Correctional Public Health and Health Promotion.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code as it relates to the creation of the Center for Correctional Public Health and Health Promotion.

Not later than December 1, 2007, the Governor would be required to appoint members to the governing board of the Center for Correctional Public Health and Health Promotion.  The Governor would also be required to designate two members for terms expiring February 1, 2008 and two members for terms expiring February 1, 2009.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
