HB2661 by King, Tracy (Relating to the inclusion of certain expenditures for purposes of the rule that a specified percentage of school district revenue be spent for instructional activities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The commissioner of education would be directed to adopt revised rules concerning the calculation of the percentage of a school district's total available revenue allocated to direct instruction.  Specifically the bill would require the revised rules to include expenditures for utilities and student transportation in the percentage of total available revenue allocated to direct instruction.
