HB2672 by Laubenberg (Relating to activities of a winery located in a dry county.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 16.011 which states that a wine permit holder may sell or dispense wine only if the wine is at least 50 percent by volume fermented juice or grapes or other fruit grown in the state. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

The Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) states that there would be no significant costs to the agency to implement the provisions of the bill.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
