No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 38.15(a), Penal Code, by adding to the list of actions that constitute an offense of obstructing governmental operation the act of interfering with a county or municipal public health official while that person is performing their duties.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
