HB2823 by Bohac (Relating to provisional voting by a person who applied for an early voting ballot by mail.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow voters who receive an early voting ballot by mail, and who did not vote by mail, to cast a provisional ballot on election day under certain circumstances provided in the bill.

Although the Act takes effect on September 1, 2007, the provisions of the bill would become effective only for an election ordered on or after September 1, 2009.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
