HB2912 by Aycock (Relating to requiring an election authority to provide notice to certain county chairs regarding certain election activities.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to require each election authority, at least four days in advance, to deliver written notice of the time and place of any meeting called by the election authority to the county chair of each political party that made nominations by primary election for the general election for state and county officers.

The bill would take effect immediately if it were to receive the required two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2007.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
