LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 80TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 2, 2007

TO:
Honorable Mike Krusee, Chair, House Committee on Transportation

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB2955 by Jackson, Jim (Relating to the terms and conditions for access to airports owned or operated by certain local governments.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would apply only to a local government with a population of between 11,000 and 19,000 located in a municipality with a population of more than 2 million that is adjacent to a county with a population of 1 million. Based on the 2000 U.S. Census, the bill would apply only to the town of Addison.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
