HB3100 by Anchia (Relating to required training for package store employees; providing an administrative penalty.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 22.17, Employee Training, which would require each employee of a package store permittee to successfully complete a seller training program every two years. The bill would also establish policies and procedures for the seller training program including possible administrative penalties. The bill would take effect March 1, 2008.
The Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) states that there would be no significant costs to the agency to implement the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
