HB3115 by Zerwas (Relating to the identification of certain practitioners of the healing arts; providing civil and criminal penalties.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the identification of certain practitioners of the healing arts; providing civil and criminal penalties.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board, the Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, the Board of Psychologists, the Board of Chiropractic, the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and the Optometry Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Each board or agency required to adopt rules under this bill shall adopt said rules by January 31, 2008.  This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
