No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code and the Property Code regarding approval procedures and requirements related to a new plat that is a subdivision golf course. The changes would apply only to land located wholly or partly in the corporate boundaries of certain municipalities. Based on the 2000 U.S. Census, the bill would apply only to municipalities located in Harris, Montgomery, and Fort Bend counties.
