HB3249 by Truitt (Relating to the powers and duties of, and the entities reviewed by, the Sunset Advisory Commission.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would clarify the powers and duties of the Sunset Commission, change the Sunset dates for certain state agencies, and remove the Texas Military Facilities Commission from Sunset review schedule.

The bill would take effect upon a two-thirds vote.  Otherwise the bill would be effective Septemer 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
