No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would clarify the powers and duties of the Sunset Commission, change the Sunset dates for the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation and the Texas Council on Purchasing from People with Disabilities, and remove the Texas Military Facilities Commission from Sunset review schedule.

The bill would take effect upon a two-thirds vote.  Otherwise the bill would be effective Septemer 1, 2007.
