No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the use of electronic signatures in connection with the administration of health and human services programs.

It is assumed that the Health and Human Services Commission could implement the provisions of the bill using existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
