IN RE:	HB3308 by England (Relating to a requirement that the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality provide notice related to certain permit applications to certain officials. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to provide notice of applications for concrete batch plants to the county judge of the county in which the facility is located and, if the facility is locaed in the territorial jurisdiction of a municipality, to the presiding officer of the municipality's governing body.

Any additional workload resulting from passage of the bill is expected to be absorbed using existing TCEQ resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
