No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to provide notice of applications for concrete batch plants to the county judge of the county in which the facility is located and, if the facility is locaed in the territorial jurisdiction of a municipality, to the presiding officer of the municipality's governing body.

Any additional workload resulting from passage of the bill is expected to be absorbed using existing TCEQ resources.
