IN RE: | HB3409 by Thompson (relating to staff development training for certain public school personnel regarding student disciplinary procedures. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
The bill would require teachers, principals, or other administrators who oversee student discipline to attend staff development training in discipline management techniques.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) indicates that the required training could be provided using current agency resources in coordination with Regional Education Service Centers and through the use of the Texas Education Television Network (TETN).
