No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require continuing education for teachers to be evidence-based and linked to areas identified in teachers' performance appraisals as needing improvement, areas related to teachers' professional goals, and areas related to subject areas taught.

Local Government Impact

School districts would be required to comply with continuing education requirements for teachers.
