No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and provide that the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (office) establish and administer a "Genuine Texas Program" to develop and expand markets for Texas manufactured products. In addition, the office would appoint an advisory board that would advise the office on the adoption of rules and procedures relating to the administration of the program.
