No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow agencies that administer or sponsor state health care programs or health insurance plans to request that providers, programs, plans, or insurers submit a plan for the use of electronic health care records and would allow those state agencies to consider a vendor's use of electronic health care records as a factor in the contracting process.

No significant fiscal impact to the state associated with the provisions of the bill is anticipated.
