HB3514 by Rodriguez (Relating to the disclosure by the Texas Department of Public Safety to appraisal districts of name, date of birth, and address information for use in determining a person's eligibility for a residence homestead exemption for the elderly.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Public Safety to furnish information regarding persons age 65 and over to the chief appraiser of the appraisal district in which the persons age 65 and over reside.

The Department has indicated that the provision of this information to appraisal districts would have a minimal effect upon the operations of the Department.
