No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would designate July 21 as First Lady Frances Cox Henderson Remembrance Day in honor of the life and achievements of Frances Cox Henderson, who was the first First Lady of the State of Texas in 1846.

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
