No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide that the Office of the Attorney General conduct a study to determine whether state law or the authority of the Texas legislature is or may be in any way directly affected by an existing or proposed compact or agreement between the United States, this state, or a political subdivision. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
