No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to add the spouse or dependent child of a member of the United States military forces serving on active duty to the list of persons to whom the court would be authorized to require to successfully complete a driving safety course for dismissal of certain traffic offenses. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
