HB3700 by Miles (Relating to investment by the holder of a manufacturer's license in certain businesses that hold a general distributor's license.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 102.181, Manufacturer: Interest in Distributorship, which states that the holder of a manufacturer’s license may have a financial interest, but not operational involvement, in a business that holds a general distributor’s license. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
The Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) states that there would be no significant costs to the agency to implement the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
