No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend requirements of official confirmation forms and statements of residency for voters. The bill would require the Secretary of State to prescribe official forms for the confirmation notice and response, and a statement of residence form not later than September 1, 2007. The bill would be effective immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote from both houses. Otherwise the bill would be effective September 1, 2007.
