No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Probate Code relating to the rights of incapacitated persons that may be terminated by a court in a guardianship proceeding.  The bill would add terminations the right to vote or operate a motor vehicle to the items that should be addressed in a court order regarding guardianship.  To the extent the bill would amend court guidelines in guardianship proceedings, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
