No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to remove the requirement of publishing in a newspaper notice of certain municipal zoning changes and to change the criteria for determining addresses to which notices must be mailed.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
