No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill allows the Texas Water Development Board to approve for the five-year period beginning January 5, 2007, a regional water plan that was submitted after the deadline of January 4, 2006, if that water plan was approved by the applicable regional water planning group no later than January 19, 2006. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
