The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by adding a section relating to the requiring of notice in charging instruments. The bill would require notice of certain aspects as described at least 30 days before trial. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures; no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
