No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $77,468.


The bill would provide that the State of Texas officially post ratify Amendment XXIV of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits the denial or abridgement of the right to vote for failure to pay a poll tax or any other tax.

Local Government Impact
