The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $77,468.
The resolution, if approved by the voters, would authorize a public school employee or retired public school employee to receive compensation for serving as a member of a local governing body. The proposed constitutional amendment would be required to be submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 6, 2007.
