No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $77,468.

The bill would require a referendum of the voters of Texas on a constitutional amendment to move the Higher Education Fund appropriation for Angelo State University from the Texas State University System to a newly created Texas Tech University System listing.
