SB36 by Nelson (Relating to the examination of certain applicants for a license to practice medicine. ), Conference Committee Report

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Occupataion Code relating to the examination of certain applicants for a license to practice medicine.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

This bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all members elected to each house, otherwise if this bill does not recieve the vote necessary for immediate effect, the bill takes effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
