No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Higher Education Coordinating Board, in consultation with members of the Health Professions Council and with representatives of private or independent institutions of higher education, to conduct a feasibility study regarding joint health science courses at public institutions of higher education. The costs associated with the study will be absorbed within existing resources of the agency.
