SB157 by Seliger (Relating to the definition of criminally injurious conduct for purposes of the Crime Victims' Compensation Act.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and provide for additional circumstances for which authorized Crime Victims’ Compensation Program payments may be made. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
