SB175 by Wentworth (Relating to the calculation of certain deadlines under the public information law.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change deadlines related to public information requests from working days to business days. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within current state resources. 

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all members elected to each house; otherwise, the bill would take effect on September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
