IN RE: | SB234 by Harris (Relating to the reporting of income-producing contracts or programs entered into or operated by school districts.), As Engrossed |
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
School districts without a website would incur publication costs of approximately $160 per year to maintain compliance. It is assumed that the overwhelming majority of districts would comply by posting reports on the district Internet website as authorized by the bill. Since more than 1,000 school districts currently have websites, fiscal implications are not expected to be significant on a statewide basis.
