No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would revise the requirements under which a retiree participating in the Texas Municipal Retirement System could return to municipal employment and resume membership without suspension of the person's annuity.
Local Government Impact
Based on information provided by the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS), there would be no significant fiscal impact to the TMRS member municipalities.
