No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Public Information Act by allowing a governmental body to redact the birth date of a current or former employee of a governmental body without the necessity of requesting a decision from the Office of the Attorney General.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives the requisite number of votes. Otherwise, the bill would take effect on September 1, 2007.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
