SB327 by Carona (Relating to cargo transported by vehicle; providing a criminal penalty.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code by adding to what constitutes a misdemeanor vehicle equipment offense the act of transporting cargo that is not adequately secured to prevent the cargo from falling from the vehicle. It is anticipated that costs related to enforcement acitivities could be absorbed using existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
