No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code, Chapter 25 relating to a motion for the recusal or disqualification of a statutory probate court judge. The bill would add provisions for determining the assignment of a judge to hear such motions. To the extent the bill would modify procedures relating motions for recusal or disqualification; no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
