Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

The bill would repeal the criminal penalty in the form of a Class C misdemeanor currently associated with violations of school district policies adopted under the authority of Subchapter D, Chapter 37, Education Code relating to the protection of buildings and grounds.
