No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under provisions of the bill, the University of Texas System may impose on each student enrolled at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin a student services building fee in an amount not to exceed $100 per semester credit hour for each regular semester, $75 per summer session of more than six weeks and $50 for each summer session six weeks or shorter. The University of Texas System estimates the student services building fee will generate $2,983,217 in auxiliary funds over the next five years. Enrollment increases will generate additional revenue. The student services building fee will be locally assessed by the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
