SB525 by Seliger (Relating to the sale of certain small municipal parks.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize a home-rule municipality with a population of less than 100,000 to sell or convey specifically defined park land sold or conveyed to the owner of adjoinging property as provided by a resolution or ordinance that has an effective date before December 1, 2007 without having to hold an election for approval for the sale or conveyance. The bill would also require that a petition for the judicial review of the sale must be filed on or before the 30th day after the date the ordinance or resolution is adopted.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
