SB535 by Hegar (Relating to the possession or shooting of a handgun on the land of the Lower Colorado River Authority by a person licensed to carry a concealed handgun.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to provide that the prohibition on use of firearms or other weapons on Lower Colorado River Authority lands does not apply to an individual holding a licensed concealed handgun. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
