No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would create an interagency obesity council comprised of the commissioners of state health services, education, and agriculture, or their designees. The bill would require the council to submit a report, biennially, on its activities. It is assumed any costs related to the council could be absorbed within the existing resources of the member agencies.
