No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code by authorizing the chief justice of the supreme court of Texas, in the event of an emergency, to by order allow a district court and a statutory county court to hear cases, hold court, and transact business in a location other than a county seat where the court ordinarily transacts business.
